BRTC for the 1st 2 weeks is... still ok. Kidding, it is not good.


Yesterday went out with JM, Tean and SY to West Mall to talk cock. LOL! Thats wad they named the activity. So anyway it was really heartwarming, to be able to talk to ur PJ friends about almost anything w/o worrying about them sabo-ing, backstabbing, etc.

Celebrated christmas with my family also by eating out downstairs, which was quite a fantastic meal, and then spending time together. ^^ I suddenly feel that living with ur family is a really good feeling, compared to living in BRTC. =D

the jellyfish is back! It is 1 more day before I go to Civil Defence!

Posting what I did for the past 2 days and today's life.

Sat, 11th Dec:

Nothing interesting, went out with War to Safra Jurong to eat chicken cutlet curry rice. 1st time I ate Jap curry rice, the curry is sweet and not the least spicy. o.o

The chicken cutlet is damn crispy and nice =P, a pity i didn't try it for the past few times I went SJ, but at least i tried once before going in CD! ^^

Ytd, 12th Dec:

Went out with PH, War and WL for movie and a buffet dinner.

We watched the Thai movie 'Hello Stranger'. I really liked the movie, especially the GL guy who is really damn humorous. Haha. ^^ It is sad that the girl has no bf in the end... aw. But at least is remembered by the guy. Seriously entertaining, and I like this movie than the CoN.

After the 2 hours movie, we went to Clementi to eat a steamboat / BBQ international buffet. The price of a weekend dinner is $28 after all the charges.

There is all the meat, veg, sushi, seafood, cakes, fruits, others and ice-cream. Seriously rather similar to Seoul Garden except for the sushi. Not a large variety of food, especially the ice-cream and sushi, but the taste is ok. =P Shall evaluate every section of food. ^^

Sauce: Tried the teriyaki sauce, soya sauce, and peanut sauce. Lol! If you translate peanut sauce to chinese, u will know what is it. The peanut sauce isn't the one used for satays. =D

Drinks: Drank the non-gasy orange juice. The variety of drinks is ok, many different kinds of weird tea, including the blueberry tea. The cold drinks is ok though, juices and other kind of carbonated drinks which I won't touch. Not bad here.

Fried food: Ate some fries, fried squid, and fried sweet potato. The fries is really nice, really cripsy on the outside and soft in the inside. =P The fried sweet potato is ok, the fried squid is weird.

Veg / soup: Tried the chicken soup, tasted nice, maybe because is probably the 1st time i drank soup from a steamboat. Haha. Tried the random mushrooms and chicken being put inside the soup, is nice! The hot soup is really heartwarming, best served when you are living in winter. LOL! The last part is random. Didn't try the spicy Mala soup.

Seafood: Not a lot of variety, but PH said the crayfish is nice. Didn't try this section.

Fruits: Skipped.

Sushi: Not a large variety. So i tried the egg sushi and crabstick sushi only. The sushi goes well with all the sauce, including the peanut sauce. ^^ Surprisingly the egg sushi is nicer than the one in Sakae's. No comments about the crabstick sushi.

Meat: Tried the teriyaki chicken, teriyaki beef, half a sausage, chicken and pork satay.

Somehow, the teriyaki chicken and teriyaki beef go well with the teriyaki sauce. The chicken and pork satay go well with the peanut sauce. The sausage dosen't go well with anything.

Quote War: I wonder why.

The BBQ-ing of meat is diff from Chong Pang and Seoul Garden, all is needed is to put the raw meat on a plate and clip the table tag onto the plate. A bit like Sakura, except that this is meat and not fried vegetables. =D

I like the satays and teriyaki chicken. =P

Cakes / Ice-creams: The cheescake is nice! But i only ate a small bit of it, since it is really filling. ^^ The rest of the cakes looked normal, nothing special about it. Somehow PH and PH's mother recommended the cheesecake, nice recommendation indeed.

There is only chocolate chips and yam ice-cream! -.- Ok la, the chocolate chips ice-cream is really nicer than expected. =P Didn't try the yam.

So overall, the ambience is ok, since there is really random christmas songs, and is not really hot as the BBQ is not done at the tables. =D

Warren suffered at the end of the buffet. Oh well. =(

Anyway thanks PH, War and WL for eating with me despite the random financial crisis. Haha. ^^

0845: Woke up and said to myself, tomorrow go civil defence le.

0900: Watched TV and ate char siew rice for breakfast with my family... o.o

1000: Played futoshiki and blogged about things.

1200: Played maple with ninja and underfame. ^^

1600: Watched random korean dramas. O_O

1800: Ate dinner with my parents, which consisted of siew mai, har kao, char siew pau, and mixed vege rice. =P Damn enjoyable

1845: Packed civil defence things...

1945: Play maple, and say goodbye to guild members, buddies and alliance.

2200: Sleep?

the jellyfish is back! Is 3 more days and approximately 1 more hour before i go in to Civil Defence!

Not much happened within the past 2 weeks, considering i stoned at home mostly and did not go for prom, haha!

1. Guild PQ

Had a guild PQ on 8th Dec with my mei, yx, lazer, Alvin and one more person. o.o

A smooth guild PQ, although we were out of time. o.o Managed to fought devil slime, but the jump quest was horrible. I think i had the same experience while doing GPQ with Gab's guild before, haha! Chatted with my mei until about 2+ in the morning, which is one of the few rare times i sleep that late. =P

2. Jack's place outing

Went to eat with WL, PH and Warren on 2nd Dec at Jack's Place in Safra Jurong. Ordered the fish fingers student meal which consisted of fish fingers (duh), fries, chicken and vegetable soup, and chocolate ice-cream. =P

I thought that all the dishes were normal and had nothing special about them. The soup tasted nicer than pizza hut's one though.

3. Movie outing

Watched The chronicles of Narnia - The voyage of the dawn treader with TY, Celine, Shawn, Defa and ZK on thursday. =P

The movie is really nice, perhaps as nice as CoN - The LWW. I shall rate it a 8.5 out of 10. Wahaha!

4. Seoul Garden class outing

9/20 ppl went, along with Defa! =D

Went to Northpoint Seoul Garden with Defa, ZK, CB, JL, Jeffery, Ronald, BH, MY, WK yesterday. =P

The variety was lesser than the one in Causeway Point's, but the food was still ok!

Meat: Tried char siew chicken, garlic chicken, teriyaki chicken, tom yam chicken, beef. The garlic and teriyaki chicken are nice! The tom yam wasn't really nice. =P

Non-meat: Tried random mushrooms and beansprouts. They were nice! ^^ Spammed quite abit though. CB suggested cooking scrambled eggs, which turned out successfully to a small extent. Not much taste in the eggs, but hey at least it has a shape! Good job CB! ^^

JL spammed too much of the laksa sauce, which created a bit of chaos. Wahaha!

Dessert: Tried the mango, vanilla, chocolate chips, cookies-and-cream ice-cream. I liked the ice-cream the best of all dishes, a strong flavour, and damn satisfying. Added peanuts and raisins to the ice-cream, so it tasted even better. =P

Didn't try the strawberry and yam ice-cream though, if i ever go to Seoul Garden again, I would try that. Haha! The swiss rolls were perfectly normal, only took a bit of those.

I salute BH, finishing up everything, including the giant bowl of iceless kachang. Even after we leave, he grabbed a bit of prawn crackers before leaving, probably the most hungry person of the 10 when we left Seoul Garden, haha!

Didn't go with Jeffery and Ronald to watch the sea though, a bit of regret, but i do not want to be a fluroscent lamp. With that, it should be the 2nd last time i see S16. Sadly.

the jellyfish is back! Its been a long time since i posted, and therefore i shall post something before going to civil defence 4 days later. ^^

First, A levels is officially cleared!!! ^^

Lemme summarise how i feel about the papers after maths P2...

Chem P1 - Easier than expected, maybe i expected a godly paper. Haha.

Chem P2 - I somehow feel is a bit hard, especially Q2 where it is a long relay question of 22 marks. At first I thought that P2 questions would definitely not be longer than the ones in P3, but oh well, this paper proved me wrong. The rest of the questions were rather ok though!

Hope I can get at least a B for chem. =P


Physics P1 - Can do! ^^

Physics P2 - Manageable paper, not too bad, and definitely much easier than prelims.

Physics P3 - Can do! ^^ I skipped the forces and oscillations questions, never really liked forces much, so skipped that bah. The nuclear and wave questions were ok. =P

I like the part where defining the principle of superposition was worth 3 marks! =D


After moderation, I hope physics can get at least a B! =D Surprisingly the same expectations as chem. =P
