the jellyfish is back! Posting about 3 outings during these 2 weeks, which 1 is during camp. =D


1. Singapore Discovery Center
2. Outing with 50-cents clan.
3. 7th week outing

1. SDC outing

Went out on thursday afternoon with Delta to SDC to learn more about Singapore, NS, army stuff and of course SDC itself.

We started off with a bus tour to see some army stuff, including some towers, buildings, etc. Nothing much about it. Next, we entered SDC and watched a few short clips about the Merlion and how SG forces handle an emergency which is really cool! ^^

Some Delta ppl also played a quiz game on the knowledge of SG, which was seriously difficult. After the game was sort of an OTOT walk. Had a short cafe break of eating a small cake which could not compare to the standard of our night snack. After that, we went back to SDC and watched people play an army rescue mission game which should be interesting. We then walked to the army museum to watch another movie clip about army operations. Don't really like the last part as it is seriously not relevant to my current NS life at all, since I am in SCDF. o.o

A lot of ppl seemed excited upon seeing the AED while walking out of the cafe, seems like medic lessons have really influenced a lot of rescuers. Good job! SDC has much more interesting stuff compared to a few years before, maybe one day i should go there again. =D

Did I mention I saw SY during the trip, perhaps 27th Jan is a field-trip day for uniform groups. Haha! Overall the outing is really fun and meaningful. =P

2. Outing with 50-cents clan

Went out with Marcus, XW, WB and JM for a 'bunk-outing' last sat.

Went to Chong Pang for dinner which nothing interesting happened. Unless you call XW, WB and Marcus critcising mine and JM's attire to their hearts' content as interesting.

After that we went to Bugis to get some new clothes for JM, and a new cap for me. Nothing much bah.

For the last item, we accompanied JM to get a mousepad with click 5 photo for CY's birthday which really looked not bad. =D Perhaps the best activity of the whole trip.

3. 7th week outing

Part 1 - Fieldtrip with Aaron

Went out with Aaron at around 2pm to visit some shops that display cosplay items. Never really saw such shops before since I am really like a mountain tortoise during BP and JC life. =D

Somehow cosplay items really love to feature anime and jap school uniforms, I really didn't know that previously. Aaron is seriously knowledgeable about all these stuff, the extra accesories needed, the personalities of diff anime characters and how the clothing can be made or bought. Hormat Kehalapan to him, lol! Apparently Plaza Singapura and a shop in Chinatown sold a lot of anime stuff which many retail shops in neighbourhood shopping malls do not. Cool sia! Really an introduction to cosplay.

After the fieldtrip we went to Ah Mei Cafe to get a short snack before we set off to our different destinations. A rather meaningful fieldtrip! Ty Aaron! ^^

Part 2 - Small outing with CT and War

Met CT and War at around 5pm for a small meal at West Mall while waiting for the rain to stop before going CSC to bowl. Talked about my life in CD, life about War working and other rubbish. ^^

After that, we went CSC to play 1 game as the game pricing rate is really ex. Our scores are around the same w/o PH around, and everybody scored around 70+ points. Very cui, but oh well. It was really fun, and definitely much less stressful compared to the 'bunk-outing'. ^^

Really great to see friends from PJ again, this should be the happiest outing in these 2 weeks. ^^
