The jellyfish is back!
18/3 - Sunday - ND, one of the most unique duties ever!
Instead of seeing regular patients with chest pain, breathless, stroke... We had cases of animals, strange encounters. :D
-----------------
At KTPH, there was a cat stuck at the ambulance sign on top of the building, meowing away in the middle of the night. Actually I thought it was just a random sound, and I ignored, until I saw a woman talking to Encik Samsudin.
Woah! A pretty cute cat! O_O How the heck did it go up there?
"Aiya, the cat crazy de, stuck there for 3 days le, dunno why it never die of hunger."
Eh sia la! 3 days!? Encik Samsudin suggested for her to call the firefighters to rescue the cat down, which was extremely anyhow. Should be a joke though! =P
--------------------------
Along Yishun Ave 2, we spotted a lying animal on the road, which looked like a cat. So naturally we stopped and brought the cat to safety by the roadside. Well it just lied down there motionless, so should be dead already bah.
~Jeff ar, wear gloves and bring the cat to the roadside!~
Ok lo... My 11 months in station never carry baby before, so just take this dead cat as a practice. Auspicious sia. So just go near it, and
EH!? IS A DOG SIA!
Lol ok! So just carry the dog, and somehow its body is still moving, which then I realise it is still alive! O.O
But its bleeding at the face, struggling to breathe, lacking of energy to fear a complete stranger carrying it... Compared to a person calling for giddy, this dog deserved much more attention than them.
Ma'am Adeline wanted to bandage the dog's injuries and taught the bystanders how to do CPR on a dog, very sweet sia. :) I heard the dog died on the way to a vet, nt enough time to reach a healing center. Haix...
------------------------------
4.30am? A person called for a man who just jumped down. So that is obviously a traumatic arrest, or dead already. When we reach there, apparently dont need to do ECG, which i wondered why, so I go look at the man.
Alamak, awkward positioning of the limbs, the old man curled himself, bleeding a lot... Eh? Where's the head ar!?
Eh sia la! The head kena smashed already, then I realise the red things around him are actually brain matter. Oh... so this is how the brain looks like in pieces. Interesting! :D
------------------------------
6.30am we covered F/P area to convey someone which apparently the crew knows him, except me. He kena involved in accident while driving a car, and had past history of being conveyed by Yishun ambulance while riding a motorcycle. Suay sia, he should just take public transport in future. Wahaha. =P
=================================
Anyhow unique night duty sia! A very slow night block, but at least its over! :D
